Meet your go-to online and in-person therapist Charlotte

Hello, I'm Charlotte, a qualified psychotherapist and counsellor, committed to creating a safe, ethical and compassionate therapeutic space.  I have a Level 5 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling and am registered with the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) on the Professional Standards Authority Accredited Register.

I am married with two grown up children and live near Horsham, West Sussex. I bring nearly 40 years of experience working across the NHS, private healthcare and the medical device sector. My career spans nursing, midwifery, clinical education, leadership and psychotherapy shaping my practice through person-centred care, continuous development and healthcare innovation.  This experience has given me a deep appreciation for the complexities of people’s lives and how profoundly life’s challenges can shape our wellbeing and sense of self.

I believe people already hold the capacity for change within them. My role is to offer curiosity, understanding and a supportive space where those pathways can emerge.

It’s a privilege to support clients, recognising their strengths and individuality as they move towards more clarity, resilience and trust in themselves.

I am fully insured, hold an enhanced DBS certificate, and engage in regular clinical supervision and continuing professional development (CPD) to maintain high standards of safe, ethical and effective psychotherapy and counselling practice.

My years in healthcare have given me a deep understanding of how closely emotional and physical wellbeing are connected in mental health care. I recognise that life’s challenges can shape how we see ourselves and relate to others. This understanding led me to train as a psychotherapist, where I can offer a non judgmental and confidential space for people to explore their experiences, deepen self-understanding, and work towards meaningful and lasting change.

Together, we create a safe and supportive therapeutic space where you can develop self-acceptance, build trust in yourself, explore new possibilities and move towards a life that feels authentic to who you are.
